Havent made it yet myself but have had some from a couple different friends and it was awesome. Sounds pretty simple to me from what I've heard; pack it in salt for given amount of time, then smoke at a low temp. Cant recall the exact times and temps but I think that's as tricky as it gets. The stuff I tried was rainbow trout and coho, both delicious! If I ever catch another fish I'm going to try it too...

Fairly easy with no smoking. Salt and weight in the fridge. Sometimes the fish gets "burned" by the salt and you have to trim up a touch.
